to make positive changes in their lives". -- Trish Molloy
Who is therapy for?
People who benefit from therapy are often feeling stuck and unable to grow personally or are not content with the quality of their life and relationships. People can feel this way at any age or in any life situation. Therapy can help, if you are willing to explore moving your life in new and healthier direction with the assistance of a professional. Guidance, encouragement, commitment, listening, skill building, reflection and journaling are all part of the therapeutic process.
When you are seeking a happier, healthier and more balanced life and you need someone to help you get there.
How to pay for it
Many people use insurance plans to cover the cost of therapy. Currently, I have an “In-Network” relationship with the following insurance programs.
- Blue Cross Blue Shield Traditional
- Blue Care Network
- Optimum Behavioral Health
- Priority Health (pending)
When calling to make your initial appointment, we will ask for your insurance information. We will contact your insurance provider to verify your policy and the coverage. You are also welcome to contact your provider to better understand your mental health coverage and benefits. You can find the contact information on the back of your insurance card.
If you do not have insurance or prefer to pay out of pocket, let us know that you will be a “cash pay” clients. Sessions are $95.00 each. Payment will be expected at the end of each session.
I accept checks, cash, debit or credit cards (VISA, MC, Discover and Amex, along with Health Savings Account debit cards) for payment of co-pays, deductibles and other charges.
What to expect
You can expect a collaborative, supportive relationship with me as your therapist to allow you to work toward achieving your mental health and life goals.
Your first visit
Assessments, family histories, intake questionnaires and dialogue may be used to get a good sense of what the predominant issues are and how they manifested. First sessions usually last 60 minutes.
